I’m very sorry everypony that I haven’t mentioned it until now, but I will be going with the lovely stallion that made me a plushie, Mr. Tinker Tots. I was so astounded by his kindness that I asked him myself, and he said yes!

Miss Fizzy and I visited Princess Celestia after the events with Chrysalis. Seems like she’s all done getting some well-deserved rest! Which is great, since Her Majesty says she disliked being in bed all the time. She wants to look after the castle and her subjects, not lay in bed uselessly!

Miss Fizzy brought some lovely pink roses, and we all had a wonderful time. I love seeing the Princess smile!

There really was a lot going on!

Her Majesty Princess Celestia permitted me to rest up a bit and said I could skip chores if I was too tired, but, I just couldn’t! Not now, while she is still recovering from her encounter with Queen Chrysalis…I should be working even harder to make sure the castle is squeaky clean when she is fully recovered.

I am a bit sleepy though… Perhaps I should rest just a little teeny bit, and then continue….to… work…. zzz…

I’m so sorry for the lack of updates recently… Things have just… “gotten out of hoof” at the castle as of late.

Hopefully now that things have settled down a bit in the Canterlot castle, I can be more active here. I’m so sorry everypony, I hope I didn’t worry you!

I’ll be sure to let you in on all that’s happened since my absence, though I’m sure most of you know. Word spreads so quickly in Equestria, after all! For now, the story of how I got my career as a castle maid will be put on the backburner. A lot happened over the past few weeks, and I’d love to share these new adventures with you.

Ps. Her Majesty Celestia is doing just fine, she is under my daytime care and Luna is keeping an eye on her through the nights. She looks like she’ll be making a full recovery, so don’t worry! I’ll be visiting her room again soon, so I’ll be sure to let you see how she’s doing. ♥

She looked over my application thoroughly, and I couldn’t look away from her face, wondering if I’d be accepted or not. The Sun Princess certainly had a great poker face- I absolutely could not tell what she was thinking. 

She looked at me carefully.

“Well now. Eternity, is it? I have reviewed your application.” Her face seemed serious, but I thought I hinted the beginnings of a smile.

“W-was it all right?” I squeaked.

“I must say that you are quite the talented little pony, Eternity.” Her smile formed. A smile also forming on my face, I thanked her for her kind words. But then her smile turned doubtful as she continued, “Some of it was even a bit hard to believe…!”

My smile faded. Did I overdo it? I was completely honest in my resume, but of course there was the possibility that I seemed like I was bragging…Did I sound like I was bragging? I talked quickly, hoping this wouldn’t make me lose my chance, but I was silenced when she shook her head and smiled again.

“You’re hired.”

And with that, everything else that day was pretty much a blur. I signed the necessary paperwork with a stomach full of butterflies and was ushered by a guard to my dormitory in the East Wing of the castle. I remained quiet as the guard introduced me to my new living quarters and showed me where to report to once I was rested. He soon left, and I collapsed on my very comfortable new bed and fell fast asleep.

And…That’s how it all began! It’s hard to believe that was only over a year ago, I feel so acquainted with the castle and the Princesses, as well as my work.
